This past Sunday, November 13th our St. Gregory’s church community celebrated three deserving honorees at our annual St. Gregory Award luncheon. The worthy recipients were Margrit Hamparsoumian, Rita Kurkjian, and Nectar Sarkissian Munro. All three ladies have devoted numerous years of dedicated service to our parish. Sunday’s luncheon was a fitting event celebrating their contributions and accomplishments.
The food provided by Krichian Caterers was delicious, as usual. The entertainment, a poem recited by Rafael Tigranyan, an Armenian School student and a variety of songs beautifully performed by Hasmik Mekanejian made this special event even more memorable. The tributes were well deserved focusing on what each lady has brought to our parish and the lasting effects of their years of service.
The event was very well attended by friends and family wanting to say thank you to each lady for all they’ve contributed over the years. It was truly a warm community event.
